Why salons?
We started SalonLeads after watching a brilliant independent salon lose a steady stream of bookings to a national chain — not because the chain did better work, but because their website was slicker, their booking system was easier, and they showed up on Google first. That felt wrong.
Independent salons are the heart of the UK high street. They do better work, charge fairer prices, and treat clients like people rather than transactions. What they've historically lacked is the digital infrastructure that national chains have had for years. We decided to close that gap.
So we went deep. We spent time with salon owners, stylists, and receptionists to understand exactly what they needed — and, just as importantly, what they didn't need. The result is software and websites that genuinely fit the workflow of a busy salon, rather than forcing salons to adapt to generic software.
